Grilled Lemon and Pepper Trout

It has become my morning routine to walk Lazie (our Persian cat).  I need to because our baby will not stop bugging me unless we go out for a short meandering.  Lazie will start waking me up by 5am and would gesture for me to feed her or if she wants to watch tv (she has an addiction to tv shows, anything with moving things or animals in it). After an hour she'll wake me up again and gesture that she wants to go out and if I don't get up, she will continue waking me up until I get up and open the lights.

When we go out for a walk, we don't go far anyway,we just walk along our street and just a few houses away from ours will do for her. Lazie doesn't mind for as long as we get out of the house and smell the dessert breeze of Doha

Why am I telling you this? Because, one of the few fish varieties that Lazie likes is trout.  She doesn't like salmon and mackerels.  Trout is a freshwater fish that is a close relative of salmon. Trout like salmon are expensive here in Qatar since both are exported. One kilogram of trout (whole fish) is at Qr50+ (P600++) while salmon (whole fish) is at Qr45+.  My husband and I prefer trout over salmon as it is not as fatty (??) and cloying as the latter. But since I am in no mood to eat fish as I prefer to eat steamed chicken, this dish was devoured by the Husband and Lazie the cat :-)

Oh, by the way, my Sibling#4 just sent me a picture message containing this.  This is how she eats a sour santol fruit.  She soak it in vinegar and salt (evil grin)
