Green Smoothie: Kiwi & Cilantro




We often stock up on kiwi fruits.  It's the first thing that my husband picks when we get to the fruit section of the supermarket.  

Kiwi is highly nutritious.  It is rich in vitamins and anti-oxidants.  Not only that, it is highly fibrous. 

My husband would usually request me to make kiwi smoothie and this is just one of those kiwi smoothies I make. 





     KIWI-CILANTRO SMOOTHIE
Ingredients :
Kiwi, diced -  2 medium
Cilantro, diced - a handful 

Freshly squeezed lime juice from one fruit
Pineapple juice, unsweetened - 250 ml

Preparation :
 
Place all the ingredients in a blender and press pulse until all the ingredients are blended smoothly.
Add ice cubes or use a chilled pineapple juice if you want something cold
