Fleeceflower Root Soup - A Tonic for Hair Loss Treatment

Fleeceflower root (source: google image)

My boss, emailed me a scanned copy of this recipe last Thursday which she might have taken from some magazine or newspaper (Thanks Esther).  The soup is a Chinese medicinal tonic that is believed to treat hair loss.  The recipe is authored by Mr. Lau Kiew,  a traditional Chinese medicine physician at Raffles Chinese Medicine.

I’m contemplating on trying to cook my own hair loss  treatment tonic.  May be I’ll try this recipe some day.

For anyone who is interested, check the recipe below.
