Orange Glaze for Pork Ham

This is the recipe of the orange glaze used by my husband Frederick for his home-made pork ham.

     ORANGE GLAZE FOR PORK HAM


Ingredients:

Freshly squeezed orange juice - 250 ml
Orange zest, minced  1 tbsp
Brown Sugar - 3/4 cup
Soy Sauce - 2 tbsp
Light Corn syrup - 1/2 cup
Grand marnier (rum) - 2 tbsp
Cloves, ground
Ground Black Pepper
Corn Starch - 2 tbsp
Water - 1/4 cup



Cooking Procedure:


1. mix all of the ingredients except for the cornstarch and 1/4 cup of water. 
2. Dissolve the cornstarch in the 1/4 cup of water then add it to the simmering mixture.
3. Let it simmer until the orange glaze is something thick good enough for basting.
