Simple Cajun Seasoning

I read several recipes on cajun seasoning and they vary from one cook to another.  Some only use a few as 4 ingredients to as many as almost 20.  I haven’t had the chance to try this but I am planning to make my own cajun seasoning which I could use anytime.  I have posted a cajun seasoning recipe months ago (Cajun Spice Mix)  but wasn’t really able to try it because of the long list of ingredients that it requires.  Now, maybe I can make one with this recipe

Salt  – 2 tbsp

Ground Paprika  – 2 tbsp

Ground white pepper  - 1 tbsp

Ground black pepper  - 1tbsp

Garlic powder – 1 tbsp

Onion powder  - 1 tbsp

Ground red pepper – 1 tbsp

Mix and store in airtight container.Maybe stored in freezer for keeping fresh. Use to season fish, meats, vegetables and soups

Herbs like, oregano, thyme basil, coriander, rosemary, etc.  may also be added, however, not all recipes requires the presence of these herbs so better add them when necessary.
