Home-made Tartar Sauce

This sauce is ideal for dipping fried, grilled or steamed  fish, seafood, or even chicken as well.



Real mayonnaise or Miracle whip salad dressing – 1 cup

Sweet pickle relish  or chopped dill pickle – 1 tbsp

Onion, finely chopped – ½ of a medium bulb

Garlic, finely chopped – 4 cloves

Lemon Juice – 2 tbsp

Salt and pepper to taste

Sugar, as needed to balance the taste

Add chili orTabascoto make it hot.

Cooking Procedure:

Mix all ingredients.  Refrigerate for at least an hour before serving.  It is ideal to prepare this sauce a few hours  before  using it, but it can be used immediately. This can be Stored for up to 3 days in the refrigerator.
